How to use Social Media as A Real Estate Expert

Are you a Real Estate expert and you want to stand out from all the other Real Estate Agents in your local area?  With Real estate sales still on the rise many people are turning to the internet when they begin their research of an area that they are thinking about moving to.  How do you make sure that you are staying on top and on the minds of those who are close to deciding when it comes to their real estate expert?

  • Are you making good use of Social Media?  Gone are the days when the choice of where to look is limited.  The internet is full of outlets and websites where people can research and read long before they contact a real estate agent to guide them further.  With Social Media being one of the best avenues to attract more clients are you keeping up with yours?  One way to do this is by posting fresh content daily.  Using Facebook and Instagram is among one of the musts with current marketing.  Especially are younger, first time home buyers looking to these media posts.


  • Once you get your Social Media set up and you are posting regularly be sure to be “social”.  What does this involve?  Well, get people involved in conversations by asking opinions about what people are interested in when it comes to Real Estate.  What type of information would be helpful for them to know about a certain area?  Ask them and then be sure to interact with them and take their opinions into account when you are posting information to your sites.


  • Offer tips and trends for potential buyers and sellers.  Write blog articles that will help people who may be new to real estate.  Offer useful suggestions on what they can do to find the perfect house that they are dreaming of.  What should they watch out for?   Are there tips when it comes to knowing if they are getting a good deal on financing or even on the home that they are considering?  Don’t forget those who may be thinking of listing their home for sale.  Offer suggestions on how to know what to sell their house for.  When people know that they can trust you and you are an expert they will feel comfortable turning to you for the purchase or sell of their home.
